Men's Basketball falls to Albright, 86-52

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Hosting their half of the Centennial/MAC Challenge on Sunday, Ursinus dropped its home opener to Albright by a 86-52 score.

In the other game, Muhlenberg improved to 2-0 with a 88-80 win over Arcadia.

As for the Bears (0-2) contest, Ursinus was led by sophomore guard Matt Knowles who scored a team-high 13 points.

Sophomore forward Patrick Mekongo had eight points, while sophomore forward Steve Leonard, along with freshman forward Joseph LoStracco each had seven.

Albright, who led most of the way except for 2:22 of the game that was tied, got 19 points from Josh Marquez and 12 points from Omari Ringgold.





Junior guard Malik Draper had seven rebounds for the Bears, who will host Johns Hopkins in their Centennial Conference opener on Saturday.
