ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Junior guard Matt Donahue (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) hit a jumper with just nine seconds left, lifting Ursinus (6-10, 5-4 Centennial) to a 63-61 win over Muhlenberg (10-5, 4-5 Centennial) Wednesday night in men's basketball play.

The winning basket, which gave Ursinus its first and only lead of the game, was set by a steal from junior forward Jon Ward (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) with 1:11 left. Donahue missed a jumper with 41 seconds left, but, Ursinus stayed on offense as sophomore guard Jesse Krasna (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) picked up the offense rebound.

Ursinus 15 points off the bench from Donahue, while sophomore guard Pat Vasturia (Medford, N.J./Bishop Eustace) had a team-high 19 points.

Muhlenberg was led by 21 points from Austin Curry and 14 points from Spencer Liddlc. Ursinus trailed 36-25 at intermission, but, shot 51.9 percent from the field in the second half (14-for-27).

Ursinus heads to Swarthmore on Saturday.
