TOWSON, Md. – Another week, another new high score for the Ursinus College gymnastics team.

The Bears, the lone Division III team at the Shelli Calloway Memorial Invitational hosted by Towson University, finished with a season-best team score 185.175. The meet featured three other Division I schools, including host Towson, The University of Pennsylvania and Cornell.

The Bears posted a team-high score on the beam at 47.225 with Kristen Aichele posting a team-best 9.725, followed by a 9.650 by Katherine Gelinne. Megan Bolash had a 9.400, with Danielle Michielli going for a 9.300. Johanna Warren had a 9.150.

The Bears went for a 46.925 on the vault, with Monica Durham getting a team-high 9.650, followed by Aichele (9.575), Warren (9.300) and Stephanie Schmidt at 9.250.

Gelinne and Riley Acton finished at 9.150.

On the floor, Ursinus netted a 46.700. Schmidt and Adelaide Hurlburt each had a 9.500, followed by Warren with a 9.450.  Andrea DeToro had a 9.250, followed by Michielli with a 9.000.

Ursinus hit for a 44.325 on the bars. Durham had a team-best 9.400, with Erica Schnebel going 9.125 and Katlyn Lawver had a 8.875. Warren had a 8.500 with Acton going 8.425.

Warren finished the All-Around competition with a score of 36.400.

Ursinus goes to West Chester on Friday.
