Gymnastics

Majoring in French and International Relations.

"My name is Johanna, but everyone calls me Jo. I'm an International
Relations and French double major and International Business minor. I've
been doing gymnastics since I was 5 years old and competed for Mini-Hops
Gymnastics from the time I started until I graduated from high school in
2009. I competed level 9 for one year, qualifying to the level 9 Western
Championships in 2006, and level 10 for 3 years before coming to Ursinus.
During my career at Ursinus, I competed on vault and bars my freshman
year and as an all-arounder my sophomore year. Both years, I qualified as
an individual to National's, earning a total of 4 All-America awards in
the bars, floor, and all-around. My favorite event is bars. I am also a
member of the Ursinus College Dance Team and Phi Alpha Psi sorority, as
well as tutor French and volunteer for Wismer on Wheels."
