COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus dropped a 188.225 to 179.025 decision to Division I Temple University on Sunday afternoon in women's gymnastics action.
For the Bears, senior Erin Slaunwhite (Halifax, Nova Scotia/Halifax Grammar School) finished in a tie for second place in the floor exercise competition as she posted a 9.450. Junior Andrea DeToro (Hopewell, N.J./Monsignor Donovan) was tied for fourth overall with a mark of 9.400.
On the balance beam, junior Katherine Gelinne (Westfield, N.J./Mount Saint Mary's) was second overall with a mark of 9.600.
Freshman Monica Durham (Baltimore, MD/Catonsville High School) was third overall on the vault, scoring a team-best 9.500.
Sophomore Johanna Warren (Shakkope, Minn./Hopkins) was fourth overall on the uneven bars with a mark of 9.475, with Durham finishing fifth with a score of 9.350.
