COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The Ursinus College gymnastics team opened up their 2010 season on Sunday by falling to the University of Bridgeport 190.000-176.125.

For Ursinus, senior Kira Oldham-Curtis (Eugene, Ore./South Eugene) had the top score in the vault (9.550), the bars (9.250) and the floor exercise at 9.550. She finished second in the All-Around competition with a score of 37.600.

On the balance beam, junior Brittany Ang (Ocean City, N.J./Ocean City) had a team-best 9.275.

Ursinus will host Bridgeport, Temple and Towson next Sunday.
