BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Ursinus Field Hockey senior midfielder/defender Devon Carroll was selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Senior Team, announced on Monday afternoon by the organization.

Carroll played an integral role in the Bears NCAA Tournament appearance by also registering her third career All-Centennial nod and second-straight first team selection. She continued her stellar collegiate career by tallying 18 points behind six goals and six assists. Carroll's numbers from this season pushed her career totals to 30 goals and 17 assists to cap off her collegiate career.

All six NCAA Division III regions are represented on the list of 2021 honorees. The 60 selected student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coach and were chosen based on their career accomplishments.

The members of the 2021 Division III Senior Team were initially announced during a video presentation featuring member coaches on Monday afternoon. In lieu of the traditional coach-led trophy presentation at the NFHCA Senior Games — which were cancelled due to limitations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic — coaches were given the opportunity to announce the name of their Senior Team honoree(s). In addition to the video announcement, a custom t-shirt featuring the names of all Senior Team members was created in honor of the award.
