LANCASTER, Pa. - Ursinus College field hockey's Erin McIlhenny collected Centennial Conference defensive player of the week honors after safeguarding the Bears to one of their most productive weeks in recent history.

McIlhenny was the last line of defense in back-to-back huge victories, the first a 2-1 double-overtime thriller at No. 6 TCNJ in which she matched her own program record with three defensive saves to allow the Bears to come away with their first top-10 road win since 2014 and first triumph in Ewing since 2010. 

The fifth-year senior added another defensive save in Saturday's 6-0 rout of No. 8 Frankin & Marshall, giving her a conference-leading six on the season. McIlhenny ranks fifth in school history with 13 career defensive saves.
