LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus College senior goalkeeper Danielle DeSpirito (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) was named as the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon by the conference office.
DeSpirito last week went 2-0 as she made three saves in wins over Elizabethtown and Gettysburg. For the season, she is 4-1 with a 1.39 Goals Against Average. She has made 12 saves for a save percentage of .632.
Ursinus (4-1, 1-0 Centennial) will host Rowan on Saturday.
