EWING, N.J. – In a battle of two top ranked teams, fourth-ranked The College of New Jersey (14-1) scored four straight goals in a 4-1 win over fifth-ranked Ursinus (11-2) on Thursday night in field hockey action at Lions Stadium.

Four different players scored for the Lions, who had a 25-17 lead on shots on the night.

Ursinus got its lone goal 3:14 into the game when Danielle Stong scored on a redirect from Samantha Macchio.

Junior goalkeeper Danielle DeSpirito (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) had 11 saves on the night for Ursinus.
