LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall got three goals in the first half as the 8th-ranked Diplomats (6-1, 3-0 Centennial) defeated 16th-ranked Ursinus (3-3, 1-2 Centennial) 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in field hockey action.
 
It was the first meeting between the two teams since the 2011 Centennial Conference Championship.
 
Three different Diplomats scored in the win, with Katie Cecere and Meghan Barlow scoring in the 28th and 29th minutes to push the lead to 3-0.
 
Ursinus got three saves from sophomore goalkeeper Brittany Dolson (Gloucester City, N.J./Gloucester City) in the loss.
 
The Bears head to TCNJ on Thursday evening.
