COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus College junior forward Alyssa Thren and junior forward Corinne Freeman (Freehold, N.J./St. John Vienney) had three goals each as the third-ranked Bears (15-1, 9-0 Centennial) moved their win streak to 15 with a 12-0 blanking of Muhlenberg on Tuesday night.
The Bears held a 51-0 shot advantage and now need to just beat Johns Hopkins to secure home field advantage in the upcoming Centennial Conference playoffs.
Senior forward Jennifer Bayzick (Sugarloaf, Pa./Hazleton Area), along with sophomore midfielder Rachel Pandl (Columbus, N.J./Northern Burlington) had two goals each in the win.
Also scoring goals were senior midfielder Megan Yoder (Lititz, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) and junior midfielder Bridget Resetco (West Chester, Pa./Downingtown West).
The Bears scored seven goals in the first half on the way to the win.
