Sophomore quarterback James Emmett (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area) threw for 178 yards on 18-of-38 passing in relief of junior quarterback Sal Bello (Phoenixville, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) who left the game due to injury.

Junior running back Corey Kelly (Conshohocken, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) had ten catches for 61 yards, while junior wide out Matthew Raymond (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) had a team-high 74 yards on six catches.

Defensively, senior linebacker James Roccograndi (Dallas, Pa./Dallas) had 11 tackles, with junior defensive back Prince Patterson (Trenton, N.J./Notre Dame) and junior linebacker Timothy Rafter (Springfield, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) each having ten stops.

Senior defensive end Steve Ambs (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove) had two forced fumbles, with senior defensive back Dysean Alexander (Bethlehem, Pa./Moravian Academy) and senior defensive lineman Shawn Hartigan (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) each having a fumble recovery.

Ursinus' lone score in the game was set up via a turnover, when senior defensive lineman William Ghaul (Media, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) intercepted a Hayes' pass at the Bears' 22-yard line. From there, Emmett completed two passes to get the ball down into Moravian territory at the 38. The Bears would eventually get the ball down to the Moravian 19, before Boyer made his field goal.

Ambs would have both of his forced fumbles in the third quarter, but, Ursinus could not capitalize. The Bears did have the ball on the Moravian 5-yard line to start the fourth quarter, but, turned the ball over on downs.

Ursinus will be off next week, along with the rest of the Centennial, before hosting Juniata on October 17.
