CARLISLE, Pa. – Five different players scored for Ursinus as the Bears (7-3, 6-3 Centennial) closed the 2013 season with a 31-0 shutout of Dickinson (3-7, 3-6 Centennial) on Saturday afternoon.

In the game, senior wide receiver Jerry Rahill caught six passes, giving him a total of 187 for his career and the all-time receptions mark, previously held by Ron Floyd (182). Rahill's record-breaking catch was his lone TD catch of the day, a 26-yarder from junior quarterback Kevin Monahan in the first quarter.

Monahan finished the day 18-for-22 for 215 yards and a touchdown pass. He also ran for a score in the second quarter from 1-yard out.

Junior running back Taylor Paul rushed the ball nine times for 54 yards and a score, a 21-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Junior defensive back Greg DiSanto recovered a fumble 15 yards for a score in the third quarter, while sophomore kicker Eric Boyer had a 36-yard field goal in the 4th.

The defensive unit held Dickinson to just 205 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers.  Senior defensive back Matt Ruby had a team-high seven tackles for the Bears.

Ursinus scored on its second drive of the game, going 77 yards in 11 plays capped by a 26-yard pass to Rahill in the left corner of the end zone for the 7-0 lead.  The Bears next drive went 79 yards and 13 plays, capped by a 1-yard touchdown run from Monahan on fourth down for a 14-0 lead.

DiSanto's defensive score came when junior defensive back Max DeNardo stripped Dickinson's Mike Capone at the Red Devil 15. DiSanto raced the ball back to the end zone with 14:48 left and a 21-0 lead.

Ursinus would score again on its next drive, as Paul rushed from 21 yards out ending a 71-yard drive in seven plays and a 28-0 lead with 8:12 left in the third.

Boyer's 36-yard field goal with 13:28 left in the game ended the scoring. Dickinson would get as close as the Bears' 12-yard line in the fourth but fumbled the ball on fourth down.
