COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – For the second straight day, the Ursinus College baseball team's Centennial Conference contest at Muhlenberg has been postponed due to the rain.

The opener of a home-and-home series between the squads was pushed back one day to Thursday, with first pitch still slated for 3:30 p.m.

The league tilt was originally scheduled for Tuesday before back-to-back postponements moved it to Thursday, setting up a busy final stretch of four games in three days for the Bears. Ursinus will host the Mules on Friday before closing out the regular season with a doubleheader at Washington College on Saturday.

The Bears (21-12, 8-6) are tied with Gettysburg for second place in the CC standings. First-place Johns Hopkins has already locked up home-field advantage for the CC Tournament, but the other three spots may come down to the final day, as five teams currently sit within one game of second. A sixth, Swarthmore, is just two games back of Ursinus and Gettysburg.
