COLLEGEVILLE, PA – The Ursinus Baseball team took an early 1-0 in the first inning but was shut down by The College of New Jersey, breaking their three game winning streak with a 6-1 loss.
The Bears fall to 7-6 while the Lions improve to 10-4.
Leading the Bears senior second baseman Ralph Aurora led the Bears going 2-4 with an RBI and a stolen base. Senior outfielder Josh Schnell went 2-4 with a double, walk and stolen base.
The Lions Josh Limon and Anthony Cocuzza combined for six hits, three runs and one RBI.
With two outs in the first inning, Austin Feuerman lined a double to center field and would score on a single by Aurora.
Ursinus will face off against Penn State Abington tomorrow March 28th at 3:30, a game rescheduled from March 18th.
