MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Ursinus College baseball team dropped its 2013 opener on Saturday night, falling to Manchester by a 13-1 score.

The Spartans put up a six spot in the fourth inning and held Ursinus to just four hits.

The Bears (0-1) put their lone run across the board in the seventh as Kevin Wilson scored on a throwing error. Wilson actually finished 2-for-4 on the night with a double.

A.J. Wright took the loss on the hill. He gave up six earned runs in 3.1 innings.

Ursinus takes on Penn State-Harrisburg Sunday.
