Melissa Tighe is entering her third year as an assistant coach working with the outfielders, slappers, and baserunners.

Tighe was a four-year starting leadoff hitter for Gettysburg College. While at Gettysburg, she was a four-time All-Centennial Conference performer and an All-Mid-Atlantic region outfielder. She was also named to the conference's Silver Anniversary Team in 2018. Tighe continues to hold records at Gettysburg for runs scored (162), walks (89), and stolen bases (86), in addition to ranking in the top-5 for games started (2nd-156) hits (3rd-190), OBP (4th- 0.475), and triples (5th-18). She was named to the Centennial Conference's Silver Anniversary Team in 2018.

After graduating from Gettysburg, Tighe received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University, where she spent two years as the team’s graduate assistant coach. She currently works as a physical therapist in Bala Cynwyd and resides in Philadelphia.
