Rich Coletta
Title: Assistant Baseball Coach

Rich played Division I baseball at Saint Joseph's University where he was a 3-year starter as an infielder. Rich started his coaching career as an assistant and then head coach of Plymouth Whitemarsh HS from 1993-2003. During his tenure, his teams won 5 league titles. and the District and PA State Titles in 1994.

 

Rich was the assistant coach at Saint Joseph’s as the pitching coach for the 2004 and 2005 seasons as well as an assistant coach for the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League where he handled the infielders and hitters.

 

Prior to coming on board at Ursinus, Rich was an Associate Scout with the Seattle Mariners from 2005-2017 and the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox from 2017-19. He was also the Northeast Director for Team USA Baseball NTIS (National Team Identification Series) for four years. Additionally, Rich helps to direct and run hitting and infield camps for the area's best high school players at Diamond Baseball Academy in King of Prussia.

Rich, his wife Sloan, and son Bryce reside in Collegeville.
