89 Ursinus Student-Athletes Named to Fall CC Academic Honor Roll

LANCASTER, Pa. – Eighty-nine Ursinus College student-athletes were among the 975 who were named to the 2021 Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for their excellence in the classroom during the fall semester. To be nominated for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher.

Junior men's soccer player Marco Grenda was named the Centennial Men's Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year after finishing with the highest cumulative GPA among juniors and seniors on the All-Centennial team at 3.90. Grenda became the first Bears fall athlete to be named a Scholar Athlete of the Year since Megan Keenan in 2014 for field hockey.

Nine Bears earned Academic All-Centennial status, given to those who are selected to both the Academic Honor Roll and the all-conference team in their respective sports: Seniors Devon Carroll, Jamie Mayer, and Erin McIlhenny along with junior Jordan Moore of the field hockey team; senior Kevin Hahn, juniors Ethan Belville and Brett Gross, plus sophomore Ryan DiVergilis of the football team; and Grenda of the men's soccer team. Carroll is now a three-time All-Centennial honoree while.
