LANCASTER, Pa. – Thirty-seven Ursinus College student-athletes were recognized for their performance in the classroom as members of the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the spring 2017 season.
To be named to the CC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.40.
Six Bears received Academic All-Centennial honors for garnering spots on the All-CC Team and Academic Honor Roll. Ursinus' representatives on the Academic All-Centennial Team were: Seniors Alex Campbell and Austin Kurey (baseball), sophomore Bridget Sherry (women's lacrosse), sophomores Faith Carson and Samantha Garritano (softball), and senior Erin Farrell (women's track and field).
Sophomores Brittany Gasser and Gabrielle Manto collected Academic Honor Roll laurels as members of both the softball and track and field teams.
