Menzer shined in his collegiate debut, winning two individual events and a relay as Ursinus opened the 2016-17 campaign with a 117-88 victory at Dickinson. Menzer won the 200 free by nearly three seconds with a clocking of 1:45.08 and just edged Dickinson's Alex Bennett to take the 100 free in 48.79. Menzer also teamed up with Travis Venables, Dylan Cooper, and Casey Lear to claim the 400 free relay in 3:18.80. Menzer doubled up on the honors on Tuesday, when he was tabbed the CC Male Swimmer of the Week by collegeswimming.com.
