ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's tennis team took to the road in search of its Centennial Conference victory and found it at Muhlenberg, returning to Collegeville with an 8-1 triumph in tow.

Senior Ariel Danziger pulled into a tie with BreAnna Bashaw '16 for the all-time program record with her 51st career doubles win for the Bears (6-5, 1-3), who snapped a three-match skid.

Danziger and freshman Madisen Harvey scored an 8-4 victory over Jourdyn Buckheit and Geetika Bhatia at number two, staking Ursinus to an early lead and pulling Danziger even with her former teammate atop the program charts.

Seniors Aileen BeVard and Ashley Nguyen followed with an 8-5 defeat of Hannah Molk and Meghan Olsen on the top court before freshmen Summer Burkholder and Maddie Sorebo edged Shelby Knafo and Jessica Sommer by an 8-6 count at number three.

BeVard was pushed to the limit at number one singles but walked away with a 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 triumph opposite Molk at number one singles; she became the third player in school history to cross the 80-win threshold for her career with two more victories on her ledger.

Nguyen posted a 6-0, 6-4 win against Olsen at number two, and Danziger dispatched Knafo by a 6-4, 6-1 final at third singles for her 94th career victory.

Harvey and Burkholder were 8-2 winners over Buckheit and Carina Nicolaisen at fourth and fifth singles, respectively. The Mules avoided the shutout with a win from Bhatia at number six.

The Bears return to the Lehigh Valley on Thursday for a non-conference match with Moravian.
