COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus earned a 3-1 win over Immaculata in a non-conference volleyball match on Tuesday evening, moving their mark to 6-6.
Set scores were 25-16, 19-25, 25-23 and 25-18.
Sophomore outside hitter Karla Thiele (Lakeland, Fla./George Jenkins) led both sides with 15 kills, while senior outside hitter Anahi McIntyre (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) added in six. Junior setter Gina Powers (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) had 33 assists on the night.
Junior libero Leah Masiello (New Castle, Del./St. Elizabeth's) had four service aces on the night, to go along with 23 digs. Powers also had three aces for the Bears.
Senior middle blocker Mara Berzins (Perkasie, Pa./Penn Ridge) had three solo blocks, while Powers had two.
Ursinus goes to Bryn Mawr on Thursday.
