COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – In its first meet of the year, the Ursinus College track and field teams turned in some top performances as they hosted the Bow-Tie Classic.
Featuring 20 teams on the women's side, the Bears finished tenth with 20 points
Senior Emily Lamb (Parkesburg, Pa./Westtown) was fourth in the mile with a time of 5:31.62, while junior Krista Snyder (West Sunbury, Mass./Moniteau) was fourth in the 500 meters with a time of 1:27.99.
In the pole vault, junior Elizabeth Cooley (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) was sixth at eight feet, while junior Kristen Prijs (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township) was sixth in the 400 meters at 1:03.18.
Sophomore Chloe Johnson-Hyde (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) was seventh at 27.88 in the 200 meters.
