COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – For the Ursinus College women's swimming team, Saturday's victory over Bryn Mawr was more than just another Centennial Conference victory.

Winning the meet by a score of 115-83, secured the Bears an undefeated dual meet season with a record of 11-0 and a perfect 7-0 in the Centennial. The Bears finished atop the dual meet standings.

The undefeated season is a testament to the hard work of the student-athletes and the hard work of the coaching staff led by Mark Feinberg. This program finished last at the 2005 Centennial Conference Championships and came within just seven points of a conference champion last season.

The Bears, who now turn their sights on the Centennial Conference Championships in two weeks at F&M, started off the day by winning the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:56.81 as the team of senior Malena

Lair Ferrari, freshman Katie Pielmeier, sophomore Briana Mullan and sophomore Corinne Capodanno won the event.

In the 1000 free, junior Chelsea Kozior won the event at 11:00.09, followed by freshman Allison Emick in second at 11:39.14.

In the 200 free, senior Kimberly Bullock was the top finisher at 2:06.30

Capodanno won the 200 IM at 2:18.10, followed by senior Eva Russell in second at 2:24.85. Mullan was second in the 50 free at 26.49.

In the 100 fly, freshman Alli Hemp was first at 1:01.18, with sophomore Kyleigh Hamilton in second at 1:02.89.

Mullan captured the 100 free at 58.48.

In the 100 back, freshman Cat Wilson was second at 1:08.43.

In the 500 free, senior Molly Serfass was first at 5:28.33, with Bullock in second at 5:34.18.

Senior Eva Russell won the 100 breast at 1:15.28.
