Women's Swimming now 2-0 after win over LVC, 107-91

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's swimming team moved their record to 2-0 with a 107-91 win over Lebanon Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The Bears started the day by winning the 200 meter medley relay as the team of sophomore Micaela Lyons (Plainfield, N.J./Wardlaw-Hartridge), sophomore Corinne Capodanno (Claymont, Del./Padua Academy), sophomore Kyleigh Hamilton (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) and junior Chelsea Kozior (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) won with a time of 2:09.72.

In the 800 free, junior Margo Randelman (Palm Harbor, Fla./Palm Harbor University) won the even t at 10:45.36, with senior Kaitlin Kirker (Rockaway Point, N.U./Polytech Prep County Day School) was second at 10:54.06.

In the 200 free, senior Molly Serfass (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) was first at 2:17.69 followed by Hamilton at 2:19.73.

In the 50 free, Kozior was second at 28.93.

In the 200 IM, freshman Alexandra Hemp (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppague) finished first at 2:37.18, followed by freshman Catherine Wilson (Ephrata, Pa./Conestoga Valley) was second at 2:39.68.

In the 100 fly, freshman Katie Pielmeier was second at 1:08.33.

The 100 free saw senior Malena Lair Ferrari (Bethesda, Md./The German School) win the event at 1:00.27, followed by Serfass in second at 1:05.71.

Wilson won 100 back at 1:13.04, followed by Lyons in second at 1:13.12.

In the final scoring event before going exhibition, freshman Allison Emick (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) was second at 5:10.20.
