GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's lacrosse team battled with fourth-ranked and defending national champion Gettysburg on Saturday as the Bears held an early 2-1 lead.
However Gettysburg (10-1, 6-0 Centennial) outscored Ursinus (7-5, 3-2 Centennial) 13-4 in the second half in a 19-9 win for the Bullets.
For the Bears, Amber Moyer had three goals, while Emily Diehl had two goals and two assists. Kitty Dawson had two goals, while Alyssa Thren and Nicole Kovacs each had one goal and one assist.
Thren had five draw controls, with Diehl picking up four.
In goal, Riley Pembroke had 18 saves.
