COCKEYVILLE, Md. – The Ursinus College men's cross-country team traveled to Baltimore County this weekend for the Centennial Conference Championship. The Bears placed fifth and recorded their best finish since joining the Centennial.

Freshman Giles Daly was the first Bear to cross the line finishing 15th in a field of more than 100 runners on Saturday. Daly traversed the 8-kilometer course in 26:31.1, an average time of 5:29.3 per mile. Marcos Maciel placed 27^th in 27:15.2, while Christian Rosado finished 28^th with a clocking of 27:20.6.

Paul Faggioli finished in 43^rd place with a time of 27:59.8, and Tucker McGrath placed 52^nd at 28:27.0. Jesse Wun (57^th; 28:44.1) and Brandon Slaboda (58^th; 28:45.5) were close behind McGrath as the Bears put all of their top seven runners inside the first 60 finishers.
