MXC fourth at Mustang Stampede

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Ursinus College men's cross country team finished fourth with a score of 110 points at the Mustang Stampede hosted by Johns Hopkins/Stevenson on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Top Finisher
Sophomore Joseph Iuliucci (Haddon Township, N.J./Haddon Township) finished 35th overall with a time of 29:01. 


Bears Other Finishers
Sophomore Malcolm Rambert (Princeton, N.J./Notre Dame) was second on the team with a time of 29:20, while freshman Andrew Voyack (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) was third at 29:48.
Freshman Jonny Cope (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) was fourth at 29:55, followed by senior James Hartop (Glen Ridge, N.J./Glen Ridge) fifth at 30:11.
Freshman Evan Cirafesi (King of Prussia, Pa./Upper Merion) had a 30:13, while senior Jason Rudich (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) had a 31:21

Coaches Corner
The men did a great job working off each other by running in a pack. Our 1-5 runners were separated by less than 70 seconds and our 6 & 7 followed closely behind. Our top freshman (Voyack, Cope, & Cirafesi) really stepped in their first time racing the 8k distance.
