Iuliucci takes top spot at Bryn Mawr Invitational

MEDIA, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's cross country team opened its season at the Bryn Mawr Invitational at Rose Tree Park in Delaware County. There was no team scoring.

Top Finisher
Sophomore Joseph Iuliucci (Haddon Township, N.J./Haddon Township) came away with his first collegiate victory, winning the event with a time of 17:59, the lone runner to go under 18 minutes on the hilly course.  

Bears Other Finishers
Senior captain James Hartop (Glen Ridge, N.J./Glen Ridge) was tenth overall with a time of 18:26, the second finisher of the day for Ursinus.
Freshman Andrew Voyack (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) was 11th overall at 18:27.
Senior Jason Rudich (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) was 13th with a time of 18:57.1.
Freshman Evan Cirafesi (King of Prussia, Pa./Upper Merion) was 14th with a mark of 19:04.9.
Sophomore Malcolm Rambert (Princeton, N.J./Notre Dame) was 15th with a time of 19:14.1
Junior Luke Schlegel (Wallingford, Pa./St. Joe's Prep) was 19th with a time of 19:30.1

The Bears second through seventh runners finished in close pack separated by a little over a minute.
