NEWARK, Del. – Ursinus tuned up for the Centennial Conference Championships with a third place finish at the University of Delaware Invitational in the Division II-III race.
Junior Sam Stortz (Dresher, Pa./Upper Dublin) had a second place finish to pace the Bears, as he finished with a time of 27:30.93, followed by sophomore Jatin Narang (Germantown, Md./Clarksburg) in fifth with a time of 27:55.84. Junior Mark Gapinski (Sinking Spring, Pa./Holy Name) was 16th overall with a time of 29:17.38, with senior Bogdan Lisachenko (Philadelphia, Pa./J.R. Masterson) in 20th place with a time of 29:43.40.
Senior Adam DiCaprio (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Poughkeepsie) was in 21st place at 29:55.70 to finish the top five finishers for Ursinus.
