COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to regionally ranked Haverford on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bears (13-6, 4-4 Centennial) fought hard at number three flight doubles as Mike Melchiorre and David Rowe dropped a close 9-7 match to Andy Dougherty and Sloan Millman.
In singles play, Tyler Arsenault forced three sets at third flight singles against Dougherty, but lost 6-2, 2-6, 7-5.
Ursinus hosts Muhlenberg on Saturday, with a chance to make the Centennial Conference playoffs with a win.
