COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's swimming team hosted Lycoming College on Saturday in a non-conference meet. The Bears came away with a 115-87 win.

The Bears started the meet with in 200 yard medley relay with the team of freshman Jacob Robinson (Columbia, Pa./Lancaster Catholic), junior Philip Quick (Bridgeton, N.J./Cumberland Regional), senior Chris Smith (Wayne, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) and sophomore John Wieczorek (Milltown, N.J./St. Joseph High School)  taking first at 1:40.95.

Sophomore Alexander Pandelidis (York, Pa./Dallastown Area)  picked up the top finish by taking top honors in the 1000 free at 10:54.69.  Junior Scott Paine (York, Pa./Dallastown) took first in the 200 yard freestyle with a final time of 1:50.03.  Junior Philip Quick (Bridgeton, N.J./Cumberland Regional) finished first in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 22.64.

Freshman Josef Gershun (Southbury, CT/Fork Union Military Academy) won the 200 IM at 2:10.56.  Wieczorek and Robinson took 2-3 in the 100 butterfly with Wieczorek at 56.57 and Robinson at 56.93.   

Pandelidis won the 100 freestyle at 50.91 and Paine won the 100 backstroke at 55.72.

Smith won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:08.94.  Senior Kevin Tallon finished 3rd with a time of 5:23.76.

The Bears travel to Albright on Wednesday.
