COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Ursinus College men's lacrosse junior Tyler Neal capped his career 2022 season with another postseason honor by receiving All-American honorable mention from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) on Thursday afternoon.

It was the second postseason on-field accolade for Neal after earning All-Centennial Conference first team honors after a dynamic 2022 season. Neal entered the season as a Preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse and led the team with 62 points behind 36 goals and 26 assists. He ranked sixth in the Centennial Conference for all three of those statistical categories and ranked third in total shots with 140. Neal recorded seven hat tricks this spring and earned a spot on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) team of the week back on March 1st following a season-high game of nine points.

Neal registered at least three points in 12 of the 16 games this season for the Bears. He scored a career-high six goals against Southern Virginia back in February. In two seasons since transferring from Rutgers following his freshman year, Neal has tallied 86 points behind 51 goals and 35 assists. The Pittstown, New Jersey native is also a standout in the classroom as he was named to the Academic All-Centennial team for the second-straight season while also earning Centennial Academic Honor Roll status.

The Ursinus men's lacrosse program has produced an All-American every year but one since 2014.
