AVON, Conn. – Midfielder Gerard Brown of the Ursinus College men's lacrosse team garnered All-Mid-Atlantic Region recognition from the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMCLA), it was recently announced.

A rising senior, Brown was a second team selection on the all-region squad.

Brown, who received honorable mention a year ago, captured honorable mention All-America laurels from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) for the second consecutive season after another prolific campaign. A first team All-Centennial Conference honoree for the second year in a row, Brown ranked second in the conference with 28 assists to go with 17 goals.

Brown already stands second in Ursinus men's lacrosse history with 82 career assists, just 20 short of the all-time mark held for a decade by Anthony Tori '07. The meteoric midfielder will enter his senior season fifth on the program's all-time charts with 124 points.

The Bears finished the 2017 season with a 9-5 overall record, going 4-4 in the Centennial Conference.
