WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Ursinus College baseball team closed its Spring Break Trip on a high note with a sweep of Fredonia State on Friday afternoon in the Sunshine State.

In the opener, the Bears won the game on a walkoff double by sophomore second baseman CJ Diana (Chester, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) in a 7-6 victory, while taking a 3-2 win in the nightcap.

In the opener, the Bears battled back from a 5-3 deficit with three runs in the bottom of the fifth. After Fredonia (1-3) tied it in the seventh, Diana hit a RBI double that scored sophomore Austin Kurey (East Windsor, N.J./Hightstown) to win the game with two outs.

Diana along with sophomore designated hitter Austin Feuerman (Columbia, Md./Atholton) each finished with two hits, while junior first baseman Chris Jablonski (Galloway, N.J./St. Augustine Prep) hit a home run. Feuerman had a double and triple for the Bears, while Diana finished with two RBI.

Senior right hander Alex Manacher (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) picked up the win in relief of sophomore left hander Seth Regensburg (Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School). Manacher, now 4-1, pitched 3.2 innings allowing just three hits and striking out three. Regensburg, who threw 5.1 innings, struck out four and walked two.

In game two, Feuerman had two hits, as did sophomore catcher Avery Perez (Long Island City, N.Y./The Beacon School). Perez hit a double and a homerun for the Bears, who scored two in the sixth and one in the seventh to seal the win.

Junior right handed pitcher Sean Pisik (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee)  went the distance, striking out nine and scattered six hits. He is now 3-0 on the season.

The win in game two marked the 300th career win for head coach Stan Exeter.
