Volleyball takes second set against Washington

CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Ursinus took the second set from Washington by a 25-23 score, tying the match at 1-all, before the Shorewomen (16-7, 4-3 Centennial) took the final two sets in a 3-1 win over the Bears (5-16, 0-8 Centennial) in volleyball action Wednesday night.

Ursinus got 16 kills from Allison Raff, who also had 23 digs. Senior Karla Thiele had ten kills and 19 digs, while Emily van Mulbregt had 26 assists and 12 digs. Jackie Jordan also chipped in with six 

kills.

The Bears had 81 digs on the night, with Cori Cichowicz getting 17.

Ursinus will host Dickinson on Saturday morning at 11.
