COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Homestanding Ursinus gave Swarthmore all it could handle on Wednesday night, before the Bears (5-14, 0-6 Centennial) fell to the Garnet (16-3, 6-0 Centennial) 3-0.

Set scores were 25-18, 25-16, 25-20.

The Bears were led by sophomore Allison Raff (Landenberg, Pa./Avon Grove) who had ten kills on 52 total attacks with 15 digs and two service aces.

Senior outside hitter Karla Thiele (Lakeland, Fla./George Jenkins Senior) had seven kills and a game-high 20 digs, while junior setter Emily van Mulbregt (Wayland, Mass./Wayland) had 16 assists.
