COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Sophomore outside hitter Allison Raff (Landenberg, Pa./Avon Grove) had a match-high 28 kills and 30 digs, while senior outside hitter Karla Thiele (Lakeland, Fla./George Jenkins Senior) had 15 kills as Ursinus (5-5) defeated Immaculata (4-3) 3-2 Tuesday night in volleyball action.

Set scores were 25-18, 21-25, 25-14, 24-26 and 15-13.

Raff had a hitting percentage of .279 (28-9-68) in the match, with Thiele going 15-12-50 (.060).

Freshman outside hitter Grace LaDelfa (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) had nine kills to pace the Bears.

Freshman setter Cori Cichowicz (King of Prussia, Pa./Academy of Notre Dame De Namur) had 30 assists with junior setter Emily van Mulbregt (Wayland, Mass./Wayland) going for 28 as Ursinus had 58 assists on their 58 kills.

Freshman libero Sydney Gonzalez (Hillsborough, NJ./Hillsborough) had four service aces with Raff getting three. LaDelfa had three solo blocks and two assists, with Thiele getting two solo blocks and one assist.

Defensively, aside from Raff's 30 digs, Thiele had 24 and Gonzalez had 21.

Ursinus will open up Centennial play on Saturday against Gettysburg, and will also take on Hood in a tri-match.
