GENEVA, Ohio – Junior Isabelle Deal repeated as an All-American in the javelin on Thursday afternoon, finishing in sixth place at the NCAA Track & Field outdoor championships.

Deal built off her eighth-place finish last season by marking at 137-0 feet on her sixth and final throw of the afternoon at the SPIRE Institute. It was enough to finish in sixth and cap off another impressive outdoor season.

Deal is the first Ursinus women's track & field athlete in program history to become a two-time All-American at the NCAA Championship meet. She holds three medals between a Centennial Conference bronze medal this season, gold medals in the javelin and shot put in 2021, as well as All-Mideast Region status in both events for 2021.

Deal was one of two All-Americans from the Centennial Conference for the javelin; Gettysburg's Holly Ferrara placed fourth. They are two of nine javelin All-Americans in conference history.

On the men's side, the 4x400 relay team of senior Tyler Reilly, junior Daniel Tabor, junior Payton Stanziani, and sophomore Devon Greaves finished 11th in the prelims with a time of 3:16.75. They entered the race seeded 13th as they became the first relay team in Ursinus program history to compete at the NCAA Championship Meet to wrap up a historic season for the program.
