Buckley Takes Long Jump Flight at Keogh Invite

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Caroline Buckley's flight victory in the long jump was the highlight of the day for the Ursinus College women's track and field team at Haverford's Keogh Invitational on Saturday, the final tune-up for the Centennial Conference indoor championships.

Buckley turned in a mark of 15-6.25, good for a season best and narrowly outside the top-10 on the conference's performance list.

Several Bears posted personal records on the afternoon, including freshman Tori Bearden in the long jump (14-7.75) alongside Buckley. Sophomore Neve Durrwachter (1:08.97) and freshman Rosie Cuomo (1:11.06) accomplished the feat in the 400, while freshman Madison Tillman did so in the 800 (2:31.63).

Sophomore Molly Rodebaugh's 8.42 was a PR in the 60-meter dash, just behind sophomore Gianna Speranza in 8.39.

Sophomores Sophia Simoes (10.25 meters) and Vikki Rueda-Juarzes (10.11) joined freshmen Kamil Nazih (9.66) and Zenya Yanoff (8.81) all competed in the shot put.
