GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Ursinus College women's swimming team enjoyed another historic night in a legendary season, grabbing a pair of first team laurels among three All-America certificates on the second night of competition at the NCAA championships.

Senior Clara Baker finished sixth in the 100 fly and joined classmate Peyten Lyons, sophomore Sophie May, and freshman Sophie May to place eighth in the 200 free relay for the Bears, who added 45 more points to their tally and jumped up to 11^th place in the team standings. With 63 total points, Ursinus is just four back of a spot in the top-10.

Lyons, junior Haley Sturla, Baker, and May finished 12^th in the 400 medley relay, giving Ursinus two All-American relays on the same night for the first time.

The 200 free relay squad broke its own Centennial Conference record with a 1:34.67 in the morning prelims, snatching the eighth and final berth into the championship final. After completing the evening race in 1:34.85, they officially cemented their status as the inaugural first team All-American relay in program history.

After swimming the second leg of the 200 free relay, Baker came back a few races later to take aim at a national title in the 100 fly, where she was seeded 2^nd in Division III entering the day and placed fourth in a tight prelim heat with a mark of 54.88. The senior was stroke for stroke with the nation's best for almost the entirety of the championship final but wound up slightly off the pace in settling for sixth in 55.21.

Lyons, Sturla, Baker, and May moved up one spot from their preliminary placing to take 12^th in the 400 medley relay with a mark of 3:48.41. It marked the first All-America certificate of Sturla's career.

With three more All-America swims on Thursday, Baker upped her career total to 11.

Freshman Katie Schultz came in 28^th in the prelims of the 400 IM (4:36.26).
