Lamarca Finishes 4th at CC Championships

HONEY BROOK, PA. - Senior Jessica Lamarca capped off her stellar weekend with an 11-over 82 for a fourth-place finish at the Centennial Conference Championships Sunday afternoon. Lamarca finished her weekend with a total tally of 161 after shooting a 79 on Saturday. She opened her final round with a 43 (+7) on the front nine but started to heat up over the final stretch recording a birdie on the par-four 11th hole. Lamarca finished her second round with eight pars and finished the weekend 19-over.  

Hunter Gillis of Marymount won the conference championship after shooting six-over on Sunday, with a total tally of 157. The Saints won the team title after finishing with a total of 684, while Gettysburg and Franklin and Marshall finished tied for second with 701 team score. Dickinson College (721) and Muhlenberg (741) rounded out the top five after improving their team scores on day two. The Bears finished in 6th place after tallying a 380 on day two, with a team total of 761.  

First-year Kaylin Chen impressed throughout the weekend finishing tied for 16th overall, after shooting a 92 on day two. Chen wrapped up her weekend with a total of 183 and used four pars on her afternoon for a top-20 finish.  

Carolyn DeCicco improved on her first-round score of a 104 and wrapped up her senior campaign with a 100 (+29). DeCicco finished tied for 28th place and capitalized with three pars while shooting a 48 (+13) on the back nine.  

First-year Elliot Schott was consistent all tournament long after improving from her first round by one shot. Schott fired a 106 on day two and earned a 32nd place finish after totaling three pars on her scorecard. Teammate Rebecca Chernoff also improved her score from the day one after shooting a 111 on day two for a 33rd place finish. Chernoff day was highlighted by a par on the par-four 14th hole for and finished the back nine with a 51.
