Lamarca Finishes 5th as Women's Golf Earns Third Place at Muhlenberg Invitational

ALLENTOWN, PA. - Jessica Lamarca earned a top-five at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Monday afternoon to lead the Ursinus College women's golf team to a third-place finish.  

Dickinson College won the invitational after totaling a team tally of 380. Meanwhile, Muhlenberg finished in second place after tallying a 399. Ursinus finished in third place after the team closed out their day with a total of 437.  

The Bears had four members competing at the Lehigh Country Club, a par-70 course that stretches over 5,702 yards. 

Lamarca shot 90 (+20), four shots better than what she signed for last week when the Bears hosted the Ursinus Invitational. Teammates Rebecca Chernoff and Carolyn DeCicco each finished tied for 14th after signing for a 114 (+44).  

First-year Elliot Schott closed out her round with a 17th place finish after signing for a 119 (+49). 

The Bears will return to action on Thursday as they travel to Danville for the Bloomsburg Invitational at the Golf Course of Frost Valley.
