McGarrigle Repeats on All-CC Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Emily McGarrigle notched her second consecutive all-conference performance in leading the Ursinus College women's golf team to fifth place at the Centennial Conference championship.

McGarrigle shot a two-day 174 (83-91) to grab fifth place and the final All-CC slot, capping her historic career with her third top-10 performance at the conference tournament.

The Bears tallied a 36-hole total of 846 (416-430), good for their fourth straight top-five finish. Gettysburg defended its crown with a 694, 25 strokes clear of runner-up Marymount (Va.).

McGarrigle began the day in a three-way tie for second place after an 83 at Conestoga Country Club, where she carded a 91 on Sunday to hold off a pair of golfers by two strokes each for fifth place. She was one stroke out of fourth and 12 behind individual medalist Aine Filler of Muhlenberg.

McGarrigle is the first golfer in program history to secure two first team all-conference certificates and gives the Bears an All-CC performer in three of the last four championships.

Freshman Jessica Lamarca registered her second consecutive 103 to finish in a tie for 20th overall, posting three pars and three bogeys during her second round.

Sophomore Addisen Miller finished with a two-day 226 (111-115), notching five bogeys on Sunday.

Freshman Carolyn DeCicco capped her championship with a 121 to come in at 240 (119-121). She made bogey on three holes in the second round.

Junior Alissa DiGuglielmo shot a 154 on Sunday, six shots better than her previous day's output. She had a bogey on the par-three 5th hole.
