LOUISVILLE, Ky. – 11 members of the Ursinus College softball team were recognized as 2022 Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athletes.

Recent graduates Mackenzie Brennan, Ally St. Jean, Kayla McTamney, and Julia Eckels were joined by juniors Allyson Meakim, Alexis Miller, Jordan Moore, and Anna Mefford; sophomores Maddie Solow, Sara Sullivan, and first-year Sarah Dunn on the squad. The 11 were among the record 7,527 student-athletes to receive the honor, which require a 3.50 GPA or higher and highlight the academic prowess of softball programs across the Association's membership categories.

For Brennan and St. Jean, it was the third time in their collegiate careers that they earned the accolade from the NFCA while Eckels, McTamney, Meakim, Miller, Moore and Sullivan all became two-time recipients. Dunn, Mefford, and Solow earned the honor for the first time in their careers.

Brennan, Eckels, McTamney, Meakim, Miller, Moore, Solow, St. Jean, and Sullivan also garnered spots on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.

The Bears finished 17-18 overall and 5-11 in conference play during the 2022 season.
