Men's Track Takes on Collegeville Classic

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – A first-place run for the distance medley relay team was the headliner for the Ursinus College men's track and field team at the annual Collegeville Classic.

Freshman Logan Yoquinto, freshman Bradley Duncan-Taylor, junior Andre Kelly, and junior James McDaid claimed top prize with a time of 10:53.44, more than 30 seconds clear of the Bears' 'B' team in second.

Freshman Octavious Carter produced an impressive performance in his 60-meter dash debut, crossing the line in 7.11 seconds to place sixth overall. The clocking was less than a tenth of a second off the indoor program record.

Sophomore Kyle Berardi was seventh in the mile with a mark of 4:40.58. Freshman Marcos Maciel finished in 4:46.36, and fellow rookie Jesse Wun was close behind at 4:48.88.

Freshman Kenyon Sprankle took fifth in the pole vault by clearing an even 10 feet, and sophomore Zack Beavers placed seventh in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.33.

Freshman Zach Crebbin was 10th in the triple jump (36-7.50), while senior Andrew Voyack took 11th in the 3-kilometer run (9:46.06).

Freshman Tyler Reilly completed the 400-meter dash in 55.06, and rookie Tyree Williams-Jackson logged a 24.77 in the 200.

Sophomore George Psaradakis was 21st in the shot put with a 34-4.25.
