WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's swimming team concluded the two-day Golden Ram Classic with a bevy of new season bests in a solid all-around effort on Saturday.

Sophomore Michael Prior, senior Maxwell Coulter, freshman Daniel Mueser, and freshman Ryan Carkhuff opened the second day of competition with a 1:35.82 to take third place in the 200 medley relay.

Menzer posted his best effort of the year in the 400 IM, moving to fourth on the Centennial Conference charts with a 4:13.06. Senior James Callaghan finished sixth, one spot back of Menzer, with a 4:19.09. Menzer also took sixth with a 16:39.81 in the 1650 free, cracking the conference's top five in the process.

Prior placed third with personal records in both backstroke events, marking a new PR and vaulting to fourth in the CC with a 52.40 in the 100; his clocking of 1:53.59 is good for third in the CC in the 200.

Mueser lowered his personal best by five-hundredths of a second at 51.92 in the 100 fly, and Callaghan nabbed his own season best with a 1:58.43 in the 200 fly.

Junior Jared Krawetz turned in a season-low 1:46.22 to land in fifth place in the 200 free. Krawetz also had a season-best in the 100 free (48.54), where Carkhuff notched a PR of 47.98 to take fifth.

Coulter's 1:00.70 in the 100 breast was a season best, as was the 1:01.06 from senior Reid Luksic.

Freshman Matt Snyder shattered his previous PR by over six seconds with a time of 2:15.42 in the 200 breast, where he placed fourth. Luksic's 2:16.12 gave him a second season standard.

Menzer, Mueser, Krawetz, and Carkhuff placed third in the 400 free relay (3:10.96). Coulter, senior Travis Venables, sophomore Matthew Buccella, and Prior were fifth in the 800 free relay (7:05.92).
