Men's Golf Opens Spring Season with a 6th Place Finish.

ST. DAVIDS, PA. - The Ursinus College men's golf team opened their spring slate with a sixth-place finish at the Eastern Invitational on Thursday afternoon.  

Jordan Pick led the way for the Bears with a 79 (T-7th overall) at the St. David's Golf Club, as part of a balanced effort the Bears registered a team tally of 342.  

Rosemont and Swarthmore claimed the team title with a 314, with the host Eastern finished five shots back in third. Cabrini (322) was fourth, followed by Marywood (339), Ursinus (342), Neumann (345), Goucher (350), and Elizabethtown (358).  

Senior Luke Godzieba carded an 85 and finished 23rd overall. Sophomore Billy Cardino finished just behind shooting an 87 and senior Peyton Vostenak finished four strokes back and signed with a 91. Sophomore Nick Troha rounded out the top-five with a 96.  

The Bears will return to action on Monday when they travel to Lebanon Valley for the Dutchmen Spring Invitational.
